Boy did YOU come to the wrong guy for advice on that subject.
In case you hadn't noticed, the focus of barebackjack.com is
HEALTHY barebacking. It's a feature that is, sadly, unique to
this site.
In my travels around the internet, I've noticed that most other
bareback sites tend to sweep HIV under the carpet or, conversely,
treat HIV as some kind of medal of achievement. To me this is wrong.
Let me go on record as saying that I don't think there is anything
wrong with someone being HIV+Positive and living a happy healthy life.
I have great admiration for people who have become HIV+Positive inadvertently
and are coping with the added stresses of POZ living.
I do think there's something wrong, however with either purposely seeking
infection, or even moreso with purposely infecting another. That, to me, is
sociopathic behavior, and I stand firmly against it.
Perhaps it is because I am HIV-negative that this website (unlike the others)
has been created to promote the HIV-negative perspective. Most men who are
HIV-negative would like to remain so, even though they may like
having sex bareback. Around here, we focus on
"safer" unsafe
sex. I don't know where you got the idea that wasn't the case.
As barebackers, I feel we have the responsibility of doing our absolute best
to contain the virus. Other webmasters apparently don't seem to think this
important, and they default to the desires of their own gonads. It's a bad example to set,
primarily because HIV is a world disease. The purpose of having sex without protection
SHOULD be because it is natural, instinctive, and pleasurable, and NOT
for the purpose of intentionally spreading it and ultimately decimating humanity.
I'll grant you that the fantasy of conversion is a very powerful one.
The human mind is incredibly adept at producing all sorts of wild fantasies in order to
keep sex (or even just masturbation) exciting and fresh. And while many
sexual fantasies are worth exploring, there are just some fantasies that
should be left to the realm of the imagination. I consider conversion to be
in that latter group.
You haven't told me much about yourself outside of the fact that your dick
gets hard at the thought of being fucked and charged by POZ men. But have
you talked with any POZ men about their lives following conversion? Are you
at all aware that many POZ men suffer testosterone depletion and can't get
it up without Viagra and/or testosterone injections? Some of them even lose
their sexual drive without testosterone treatments.
Have you investigated the anti-retroviral drug treatments available to POZ men
and the side effects they bring on? Are you comfotable with the idea of living
with diarrhea or stomach cramps? Howabout the constant blood tests? The up and
down mood swings? The never-ending battle to bring your viral load down and your
T4-cell count up? And then there's the social stigma, insurance problems, and
other general prejudices that will follow the fulfillment of your fantasy.
If you've considered all these things and more, and you STILL are comfortable with
intentionally seeking HIV infection, I don't need to tell you how to go about it.
That's pretty much a no-brainer. But you won't get the advice you're looking for
from me. I can tell you how to go about MINIMIZING your risk, but I won't tell
you how to go about maximizing it. Save that for those out there with something
less than a conscience.
I'm sorry I could not provide you with the answers you seek... but I have to live
with myself. Dispensing unhealthy advice wouldn't make that possible for me.
